Who is the new guest director everyone's talking about? Winterport Open Stage continues its 10th anniversary season with open auditions for the classic comedy A Bad Year For Tomatoes on September 7 & 8 at 7 pm at Wagner Middle School. A familiar face on stage, Jenny Hart will take on a new role behind the scenes as director for the community groups 27th production. Hart is looking for 4 women & 3 men to be cast, and newcomers are strongly urged to attend. In John Patricks popular comedy, gardening is the least of Myra Marlowes problems when she leaves the fast-paced life of a Hollywood starlet for some peace and quiet in a sleepy New England village. The characters she left behind are no match for the new ones she discovers in Beaver Haven. Deceptions and the suspicion of murder lead the audience on a bumpy ride
