Open Stage is proud to host WINTERPORT’S GOT TALENT! Thursday, August 5 in Winterport. Area performers will take
the stage and compete to see who will win the $100 grand prize. The event, fashioned after the popular TV show, features local
singers and dancers from Winterport and surrounding areas. The top 12 acts selected during the audition process
will compete before a live audience and a panel of judges. Judges will select the final winner.
Judges for the competition include Bangor musical favorites: Ben Layman and Heather Libby along with
musician and U.S. Marshall, Noel March of Hampden. Julia Ginn and Jeri Misler will emcee the show. Tickets are
just $3.00 and will only be available at the door.
WINTERPORT’S GOT TALENT! is hosted by Winterport
Open Stage and Winterport Area Business Association. The show is part of a weeklong series of events commemorating the
150th anniversary of the town.
